1. Should i pre-book my journey or wait until required?

We always recommend to pre-book your journey as soon as you know the journey details. This allows our vehicles to get to your pickup before the required time

2. Can i arrange a journey direct with the driver?

You can ask the driver to book you a journey in over the radio for you, however it is illegal to take the drivers direct contact number to arrange pick ups. This is classed as plying for hire and deems the vehicle insurance invalid.
To ensure you are traveling safely in a fully licensed and insured vehicle you should always book with the operator direct by calling 01246 22-11-11. If you have been asked to illegally call a driver direct, we ask you to report it to us be clicking here

Vehicles

All our vehicles are fully insured and tested every 6 months to our local council standard. Our vehicles are equipped with the latest tracking equipment, taxi price meters and undergo regular cleanliness checks.

We offer a wide range of vehicles which include:

Estate (max 4 passengers with extra luggage)

MPV (max 7 passengers)

Minibus (max 8 passengers)

Small wheelchair (wheelchair plus 1 passenger)

Club Taxis has been in operation within the Chesterfield area since 1975 which makes the company the oldest in Chesterfield under the same management.

We are the largest taxi company in chesterfield and one of the most advanced taxi companies in the UK by offering the latest services available.

Our large fleet size allows us to offer a taxi service second to none and in fact we pick up 98% of bookings within 10 minutes!

Our town centre office is approximately 100 yards from the world famous Crooked Spire and is in the centre of Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
